Asset Management

The group carries out its asset management activities through Cairo Funds Management and Cairo Financial Investments which are licensed to manage open and closed mutual funds as well as portfolios for institutions, corporations and individual clients.

Cairo Funds Management is a pioneer in structuring and managing innovative investment mutual funds tailored to suit the needs of investors. The group currently manages in excess of LE 3 billion, most of which is invested in Egyptian equities. The group relies on its strong equity research team to identify good investment opportunities through a rigorous analytical process.

CCG takes pride in being the first asset manager in Egypt to introduce a Capital Guaranteed Fund in Egypt, in cooperation with Bank Misr (Sandouk Al Omr), and for achieving best results versus competition in all asset classes. CCG recently introduced the first Sharia-Compliant co-mingled portfolio in partnership with Misr Iran Development Bank.

The group's investment philosophy is to make long-term investments in fundamentally sound and undervalued companies. Over the past five years the Group's funds and portfolios have consistently ranked either first or second in their respective categories.

Corporate Finance

CCG has been active in corporate finance in Egypt and the Middle East through its investment banking subsidiary Cairo Financial Investments.

CFI is licensed to engage in project and corporate finance activities, including bond issuance, IPO’s, privatizations, debt restructuring, loan syndications and financial advisory. The group relies on its specialized financial analysis and financial engineering capabilities to provide innovative, tailor-made solutions that focus on achieving its clients' goals.
